S.N. I can’t say enough good things about the service at Animal Health Clinic. I was looking for a place to board my 6 month old rescue pup that not only had reasonable prices, but would take care of him so he didn’t feel like we abandoned him. I called for information, they told me to come tour the facility and I registered him for boarding the same day. I was nervous but they reassured me and sent me daily updates, I loved that I could watch yard time on an app. Upon return from out of town I signed up a day care package and started taking him once a week where he plays and interacts with other dogs, best thing I have ever done. Dr. Beckers and her team are very friendly and accommodating and the facility is always very clean. I love the app and reminders when it is time for check-ups to ensure my boy stays healthy. We started our journey with our pup 2 years ago at. AHC and I know my boy is always in good hands. When I say “do you want to go play” he runs to the door and we can’t get in the car fast enough. I highly recommend AHC!

H.R.L. I can't express enough how thankful and appreciative I am for the staff of AHS. My 10 year old rescue dog, Katie tore the ligaments in both of her knees over a period of 2 months. Another vet I took her to after the first tear was extremely rude and unsympathetic, basically telling me that it was my fault she tore her knees because she was overweight (Ok, maybe just a little bit) and that she would be in pain the rest of her life.. After that bad experience, I researched looking for a vet that had experience in rehab and would offer me different potential options for Katie's care. I found Animal Health Clinic of Covington online. After a consultation with Dr. Beckers, she recommended that Katie have surgery on each of her knees, and then have laser and water therapy to rehab.. The surgery was done by a partner vet, Dr. Kopecky. We spoke on the phone several times and he was incredibly compassionate, understanding and gave me tons of great information to help me make the best decision for Katie. He is clearly very experienced in knee surgery and that was what I wanted for my dog.. On the day of each of her surgeries, the staff at AHS welcomed Katie and made me feel like I was leaving her in loving, caring hands. They called me with updates on how she was doing and I know they took excellent care of her while she was there.. After recovering from her surgeries, Katie had six sessions of water therapy. Every time we came in to the office, we were welcomed and well cared for, especially by the lovely Dana and Tammy. I was able to help with Katie's therapy and I loved seeing how well she was doing.. Katie has recovered so well and went from a dog who could barely walk to a dog that wants to run and go for walks like she did before. I can't express how happy I am that I made the decision to take Katie to Animal Health Clinic of Covington after her injuries, and I will continue to take her there for whatever else she needs as she ages.

A.V. Just had my first experience with my dog (my child) to board for the first time at the Animal Health Clinic. I was very satisfied with the staff and the special attention they gave my dog and other dogs as well. I highly recommend this clinic. Also, since it was my first time ever board, the clinic sent me a picture of my pup via email just for peace of mind. I really appreciated that!

N.D. I love working for Animal Health Clinic. The doctors, staff, patients and clients are all like one big family. We literally know patients and clients by name as they walk through the door. The doctors are current on the latest AAHA guidelines and are happy to educate clients on the best plan of care for their pet. Animal Health Clinic offers a variety of options for your pet from daycare, boarding, laser therapy, pet therapeutic massage, underwater treadmill, up-to-date and fear free veterinary medicine, pool therapy (yes, we really do have a bone shaped pool), and grooming. I have never seen animals so happy to visit the vet!

J.A. We love Animal Health Clinic. Our lab, Asher, is treated as well as we treat him at home! When we say, "It's time to go to day care!, " he jumps in the car with his tail wagging. A.M. Dr. Beckers has been caring for my pets since 1997 after we adopted my childhood dog "Spot. " 20 years later and she is still the caretaker of my dogs and my family's pets. Her practice has grown considerably over the years, but Dr. B has not changed a bit and I trust her to provide the best care for my animals or to tell me when I have no need for concern (which thankfully is more often the case than not! ). The Doggie Daycare/Puppy Playtime amenities helped my, now 9 year old, Dachshund and adopted (formerly skittish) Greyhound with socialization skills tremendously. Even my new puppy enjoys going to the vet, despite only ever receiving vaccines there, because of the wonderful staff and abundance of cheese offered in the exam rooms! Thank you to Animal Health Clinic's entire staff for everything you do! I know how tough a job it can be, but the effort is much appreciated!

D.R. The vets and staff at animal health clinic are fabulous. I would recommend them to any one that truly loves their pets! Over the years we have had many pets/foster pets that have received care at AHC. We have never had a problem getting an appointment, even on short notice they have always had time to help us and our pets. We have been taking our pets there for 20 years. Our pets love Tammy, Alicia the Docs and all of the daycare staff! Dana and Allie are fantastic as well!

A.B. Great place! The entire staff from receptionists to vets are absolutely wonderful. Our Bulldog loves doggie daycare. And when any of our 3 dogs have to see the vet.. the techs and the vets make it as comfortable as possible for them. We recommend AHC to anyone looking for a vet, daycare or boarding.
