For your convenience, we offer routine appointments six days a week and are available for large animal emergencies 24 hours a day. Our Client Care Coordinators answer calls and return messages from 8 A.M.-5 P.M. Monday through Saturday. There is no additional charge for routine weekend appointments.

Are you thinking of breeding this year?
This is the time for your pet's pre-breeding exam. The exam is tailored to the specific species and situation of your animal. At all exams, we will perform a comprehensive health exam, as well as a reproductive exam and consult. We will answer your questions about artificial insemination, live breeding, synchronized breeding, sire selection, vaccines, diseases, genetics, risks, and any other concerns that you may have. We may also recommend the following tests BEFORE breeding: Horses--Ultrasound and Uterine Culture; Cattle-- Ultrasound; Goats--CAE test; Sheep-OPP test; Pigs--Stress Gene test. Are You Already Expecting a Baby?
All expectant mothers need a pre-delivery appointment one month before their due-date. At this visit, we will perform a comprehensive physical exam, explain what you should expect: diet changes, when you need to call for help, signs of impending delivery, delivery detection devices, normal and abnormal situations, and any other concerns. Most babies are born with no immunity to fight off disease and infection. They require their mother's milk to ensure high-quality antibodies. To provide this protection, the mother must have certain vaccines boostered 4-6 weeks pre-delivery. At this important visit, we will also give you your free delivery kit and explain what else you will need for the anticipated delivery. Some animals, like sheep and goats, can have planned inductions to increase the chance of you being present for the delivery. We offer prenatal care and pregnancy ultrasounds throughout gestation. C.A. Dr Ivanecky came to examine and vaccinate our horses and was absolutely wonderful, friendly, and knowledgeable. We are so pleased with the service we got! We will be return clients for sure.

M.V. The staff up front was great. As well as the staff that was helping us in the room. To preface my pup Theodor can be pretty timid and anxious at the start of being at a new place and he gets car sick and it is a little bit of a drive to you guys, but like I said staff in the room was great with him he actually took treats after getting some pets from them (which is very surprising as after drives and again new people he does not take from people he doesn’t know) and it was great to see by the end of the visit that he was getting curious walking thru the doors on his own it was great to see. And I know him feeling comfortable had a lot to do with the way the staff greeted him with open arms. Again truly happy with the services.

K.B. Dr. Ivanecky is the absolute best. Only vet I trust in Tucson. I moved here from New Mexico and my family has been using our vet there since before I was born, so I was extremely nervous having to find someone new. Dr. Ivanecky has been outstanding, and Dana is my favorite tech. They truly care, and are very honest and straightforward. They also create a very safe and relaxed experience for the animal which has been fantastic and essential in building a solid foundation of life skills with my two y. o gelding. Also an added bonus that they are super fun to be around. The best care for my horse that I could hope for. Thank you both for loving Cash so much it really means the world to me to have such a great team behind us.

L.H. What a caring group at Adobe Vet Center. From the gal at the front desk to the owner, Dr. Staten. I just inherited a dog that has a bad leg and Adobe came out to our truck to help lift him out & put him in a stretcher. They come together as a team to do whatever it takes to help the animal & their owners. The Veterinarian & the Veterinarian's assistant were terrific & patient. She was very detailed oriented & made sure we understood how to administer the anti-inflammatory & ear medication. Not only do we thank you but our big boy Charlie thanks you as well. Laurie H.

D.G. Dr. Hood was out yesterday for the first time. I have two horses with cancer. She and her assistant Bryanna were professional, careful, kind and caring. I cannot say enough good things about them. Just the best.

B. I was absolutely thrilled to find a qualified vet to care for my potbelly pig. I called on Saturday evening with an emergency. I was promptly called back and the on call vet was more than helpful. After talking for a half hour, we decided that we could wait until Monday to be seen, an appointment was made that night. I brought my pig in and they were great with her. Very knowledgeable, patient and kind. Pigs are NOT easy to examine. We made a treatment game plan and when I called back later that day with questions and diagnosis suggestions they were more than gracious. I highly recommend Dr. Ivanecky. We haven't not fixed the problem yet but I know they are going to do their absolute best to do so. I'm immensely grateful (and so is Penelope! ).

G.S. We just moved back to Tucson after spending 14 years in Denver. We are on a different side of town & Tucson has also grown since we left. So we didn't know any vets in this area. I found Adobe on line & the reviews were pretty good. They are only about 10-15 minutes away from home. We took Apollo in for a senior dog checkup & also for shots. Apollo is 10 1/2 years old. They were really, really good with him. I think he fell in love with them as fast as they fell in love with him. They were so sweet & gentle. The other thing is that my granddaughter is going to be a vet. & they really took the time to talk to her about things. She is also going to sign up for shadowing someone. I think this is so cool. And don't forget - they help all kinds of furbabies. So if you are looking for someone to take care of your babies like you would - give them a call.
