Super friendly staff and exceptional care for furry family members!!.
We're from out of town and realized we forgot our dogs monthly medication.
Ohio prices were a bit cheaper but they are great.

Bismarck Animal Clinic is an exclusive canine and feline practice. It has been locally owned by Dr. Buchholz for 30 years. We pride ourselves on caring for pets as if they are our own. We have been AAHA accredited since 1990. Our equipment is state of the art including a CO2 laser for surgery, diagnostic ultrasound, and an in house laboratory. Our staff works together to provide a warm and caring atmosphere and individualized care for your pet. Our goal is to maintain a high standard of care for every patient.

K.K. From the jump this was a great experience. Coming in it was calm and not full of animals. It was calm and reception was so nice. The vet tech was very thorough. And the nice thing is is they don't do the shots in front of you. They bring them to the back to do them. As well as the new pet (to them) exam. The vet had her complete work up and opinions and was able to answer questions and concerns as I asked. Definitely worth the money spent for the visit.

M.K. Very nice people - it’s clear they love pets. Everyone I’ve interacted with has been wonderful. If the reviews were based solely on interactions with the staff, it would be 5 stars.. However, I paid almost triple what I’ve paid for previous procedures. And they don’t offer payment plans. I’m lucky that I have some savings but for other people, I can’t imagine having to make a choice of providing a healthier life for a pet, or making rent. That doesn’t seem fair to me. Although I realize that they have people to pay and a business to run, they charge more than they should.. I love that I can trust them and how they treat my pup, but I wish they were more compassionate on the financial side of things. In the future, I will continue going for shots and regular appointments but will look at other locations for bigger procedures. If money is not a concern, this is the best place to go!

L.S. It took me a minute to review because the reason I went to this clinic was to see about my 13 year old Westie, Ceaser who was fighting cancer. While he lost his battle, the staff was nothing short of compassionate, patient, and attentive to me during one of the most difficult times in my life. I drove 2 hours for their service and so very thankful I did. I highly recommend them as they treat you like family the minute you walk through the door.

J.W. Sent my husband with our new fur baby, Borz, all the way from Minot. They definitely made the drive worth it and were so good with our pup who can be kind of skittish! Will continue to make the drive to have our pets seen here, they are extremely courteous, fairly priced, and even just phone conversations are amazing with them!

B.P. I have been visiting Bismarck Animal Clinic & Hospital with our multiple pets since the summer of 2015 when our beloved veterinarian closed her business to focus on her family. I am so happy to have found a veterinary clinic with doctors and a staff who take our pets' health and welfare as seriously as we do! I always look forward to our appointments because I know the doctors will listen to my concerns and offer the best care available for our furry family members. All of the staff members have been very professional and welcoming at every one of our appointments. I have found our new "furever" veterinary clinic!
