AAHA-accredited Hopkins Road Animal Hospital with 2 Board Certified Vets located in Kernersville, NC: provides the finest care for your pet.

They are a full service animal hospital certified by the American Animal Hospital Association. The hospital office opens at 7:00 a.m.and closes at 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The hospital are closed on Saturday and Sunday. You may Drop-off your pet from 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. each morning. They are also closed each day from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. for lunch. Appointments begin at 9:00 a.m. and our last appointment is at 5:00 p.m. They see Sick Walk-ins each day from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and again from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 pm. There is a $10 Walk-in Fee for all well patients. Please call Carla, Lori or Kelly to schedule an appointment.

The hospital's mission is to keep your pet(s) healthy and happy. Their patients include dogs and cats. Their services include comprehensive physical exams, preventive vaccines, surgery, dentistry, radiology, diagnostic blood testing, geriatric wellness programs, bathing and boarding.

A.O. Hopkins Road is the very best! The entire staff is wonderful! I trust them completely with my Izzy and Freyja. I always get a call back. They take the time to explain things in detail. The girls at the front desk are amazing too. Thank you for taking such great care of my girls!

A.F. Best vet in Kernersville in my opinion! I take my two cats and my dog since he was 8 weeks here. The whole staff has always been so kind, patient and knowledgeable.. I board my dog here and don't second guess it! Seriously we're blessed to have this vet here in kville. :).

K.P.J. On August 15, 2022, we took our two cats, Sunny and Ella, in for their one year check up. We got Sunny and Ella from Sparkle Cat Rescue. Both of them had a very rough start to life, and as a result they do not like strangers. We discussed this with Dr. Tyler Gallaher, and he suggested that we provide permission for him to use a mild anesthesia gas, essentially a laughing gas equivalent for cats. We gladly provided that permission, and the vet visit was much easier on both our cats and the vet staff. Both cats are in glowing good health. We have used Hopkins Road vet service previously, and intend to use them for all pets going forward. They are a first class act, and provide outstanding veterinarian services.

M.P. We have gone to Hopkins Road Hospital for many years. Dr & Dr Parks have taken care our dogs and and been there when the time came for two to go to doggie Heaven. Most recently Dr Ashley has been working with our senior mini schnauzer Simon to get his newly diagnosed diabetes under control. He started going weekly and would spend the day so she could monitor him and now he goes every 2 weeks and he is almost where he needs to be. He went from sleeping all the time, having accidents in the house because he couldn’t get out quick enough and just not happy. He is his old self and enjoys his walks and spending time in the back yard. They are the best. I have so many stories I could tell and all of them are good. Paula.
