    Services

    LASER SURGRY
Lasers are a minimally invasive alternative to traditional surgery. Lasers replace scalpels in many procedures, and are useful for a wide range of conditions, such as cyst, tumor, and wart removal, and can even be used in declawing. Laser procedures result in less pain; less bleeding and less swelling. They reduce risk of infection and result in less post-operative discomfort.

    PAIN MANAGEMENT
Veterinary patients feel pain and discomfort under the same circumstances as people do. We know that recognizing and alleviating pain in animals is the essence of good patient care.

    DENTAL CARE
Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's heath. Dental disease and periodontal disease can allow bacteria into the blood stream. This bacteria can cause serious problems to your pet's vital organs. (Brain, Lungs, Heart, Liver and Kidneys)
We use modern and safe ultrasound to clean each tooth thoroughly - above and below the gum line. Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. Fluoride treatments help strengthen enamel and reduce tooth sensitivity.

    INTERNAL MEDICINE
We cover all areas of internal medicine, including: Cardiology; Ophthalmology; Neurology; Dermatology; Gastroenterology; Orthopedic surgery; Oncology; Endocrinology; among others.

    SURGERY
We offer the most advanced surgical techniques and technology. All patients are carefully screened for safety, and anesthetics are specifically tailored to your pet. Surgical services and facilities include: board certified surgeon available for consultation; fully trained veterinary and technical staff, to ensure the safest, most efficient, state-of-the-art procedures for your pet; heated surgery tables for greater comfort; advanced sterilization techniques; ECG and oxygen saturation monitors; intensive after surgery care and full blood testing.

    RADIOLOGY
Radiology – or X-rays – help our veterinarians evaluate muscular-skeletal, cardiovascular(cardiopulmonary), gastrointestinal, reproductive and urinary systems.

    IMMUNIZATION AND WELLNESS CARE
We strive to prevent illness whenever possible. The time and effort invested in Wellness programs has rewards for both pets and owners. Our Wellness programs are designed specifically for your pet and include: Comprehensive physical exam; internal parasite testing; heartworm and flea control; vaccination program; spay and neuter package; and specialized blood tests for all life stages.

    FULLY STOCKED PHARMACY
We stock a wide range of the best veterinary drugs in the animal healthcare field.

    MICROCHIPPING
Microchips have helped reunite thousands of pets with their families. We offer the most widely used microchip products to increase the chances of a safe recovery.

    BEHAVIORAL MEDICINE
Illness doesn't always have a physical cause. We employ trained animal behaviorists who help determine the cause of such disorders as separation anxiety and obsessive behavior, and then develop a treatment regimen for the client.

    EMERGENCY AND CRITICAL CARE
In any emergency, seconds count. Our experienced staff is backed up by our mobile resuscitation unit, stocked and equipped to administer the ABCs of basic life support – Airway, Breathing, Circulation/Cardiac compressions. Emergency care is offered during regular business hours. In addition, we use the services of a local, fully staffed emergency center.

    NUTRITIONAL COUNSELING
Some pets require special food, and all pets benefit from a balanced diet. Our trained and certified staff is available to help you choose the right diet for your pet to keep him or her happy, healthy and active.

    HOSPICE/EUTHANASIA SERVICES
Saying goodbye to a long-time friend is painful. We work with clients to ensure their pet's comfort and dignity. Services include taking care of the remains as directed by the client.

S.C. This is a very caring vet. Everyone goes above and beyond to explain everything to me and to keep my pet comfortable. I'm glad we found them.
A.M. Excellent experience. Staff was professional and kind and the vet was very knowledgeable. I feel like this vet will work with me and my family and it feels like a discussion. Definitely the best vet experience we have had.
J.P. I would recommend Dr T. He is very kind and truly cares about your pet. Everyone here is so nice and kind. They truly care about, and your pet.
L.M. I recently adopted my new little buddy from a wonderful, caring couple that utilized Animal Medical Center. To avoid any unecessary stress by switching vet practices, I met with Dr. Tallis and I couldn't be happier! She is very caring, explains everything with great detail, and answered all of my questions as I am a new dog owner. She even sent me home with additional printouts of valuable information.. The billing is itemized and very detailed. The practice is very nice, clean and inviting. I did not have to worry about other pets in the waiting room as we were taken directly to a room.. From my first phone call and visit to the office, the staff (Janet, Linda, Marissa, Chris) made me feel very comfortable, as if I have been coming here for years and that means a lot to me. I know my new furry friend is in good hands.
A.D. We loved our visit to this office. We moved and wanted a place closer to home. The id other reviews were great, the facility was clean, the staff is super welcoming and friendly! The dr was very gently and friendly with our dog. We are very pleased!
K.N. Started visiting this location when my previous veterinarian retired. Couldn't be happier with the change! The doctors are amazing and so knowledgeable and the staff is very friendly and great with my dogs!
J.L. This was my first visit to Animal Medical Center & they will be my vet forever! The staff was beyond kind & helpful. Dr Tallis was very sweet & informative. Their hearts are definitely into what is best for our fur babies!
J.E. Dr. T is a genius. Our dog has been seeing him for 10 years. He is now 16 1/2 years old. He always has little tips that work. He is very good at treating aging dogs and helping their families.
