B.H.G. Very reasonable prices as well as knowledgeable and friendly staff. Our 10 year old dog just had 2 masses removed and thanks to the Pet Care staff he is recovering happily. Thanks to all of you!
K.R. I am always very happy with my visits to Petcare. The staff is friendly and makes sure I understand everything that’s happening. My ferret loves the staff too and always gets all the care (and extra head scratches) she needs. Dr. Kimbral is her favorite but she’s always had a great experience with every vet she’s seen. Additionally, the prices aren’t super crazy compared to other vets I’ve been to.
J.B.W. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. The entire staff here is professional, knowledgeable, friendly, efficient, and most importantly they truly care about animals and value their lives, and they show it. We had an experience here that totally blew me away, it was so beautifully done.. Our sweet little sausage dog, Lola Mae, had her last vet visit to transition into the great beyond after seventeen years of living the good life and trying to steal our food. The presiding vet and staff treated her, and us, with a totally unexpected amount of sensitivity, compassion, time, and understanding. They explained everything perfectly and the whole process was smooth.. The room was blanketed, softly lit, with Kleenex boxes a noise machine in the corner playing water sounds. They gave us time with her as she grew sleepy and handed me a wooden heart with a doorbell attached to it, so that when I was ready to say goodbye they would know. Incredible.. I didn't notice at the time (too much water in my eyes) but today when I went to pick up Lola's ashes I saw they have a candle in the lobby with a sign that says if the candle is lit, someone is saying goodbye to a beloved family member and would you please be quiet and respectful. Jeez, man, that is really something else. Little sweet touches like that go way above & beyond a busy vet office's duties but make such a big difference! Thank you guys for making this experience as lovely as it could possibly have been, and for your deep devotion to the well being of our family, our pets.
S.C. This is an amazing office. For those of us with fearful/ reactive pets, vet care can be one of the most stressful things for them. I decided to bring my dog here because I saw they are certified as a fear-free vet, and the difference between the staff here and vet staff other places was SO obvious. It’s clear the “fear-free” title actually means something! They were so willing to work with us and they definitely prioritized my dogs mental well-being rather than just poking and prodding. I will come back here every time he needs medical care! Thank you so much!
M.E. Murphy is very anxious when outside our home but by the end of the visit his tail was wagging and he was his happy self! The care that everyone showed was wonderful and the lady's that took care of us were so kind and explained everything. They talked to Murphy like he was their baby and that made all the difference!
A.C. I just moved to Virginia and found this wonderful hospital. The staff is amazing and truly care about your pets. I brought my dog Faith in once for a check up which went well. The second time I had to bring her in was for an emergency visit and not only did they take such excellent care of her but I received a phone call the next day to check on how she was doing. They’re also on the more affordable side which is just an added bonus. I highly recommend.
H.R. They took my baby in on an emergency visit and took such good care of him. Everyone was so patient in answering all of our questions. I did appreciate the on paper cost estimates up front. the level of care and attention we recieved really shows, my puppy gets excited when he sees that we pulled up to the vet. They said I could call and check on him through the day when he was hospitalized which helped me a lot.
    D. I have three ferrets, two who are both bandit patterned. The vets, vet techs, and reception take great care to ensure they know who is who. They are always kind when working with my pets and listen to how to make the experience easier on everyone to get through the exams and vaccines. I love this office and staff!
