Animal Clinic is an AAHA small animal and exotic veterinary clinic. We have been providing expert veterinary care and services to Grand Rapids pet owners and community since 1947. According to our clients, we have an amazing staff. We truly enjoy our clients and their pets. We hope we can have the opportunity to help you care for your pet.

Our veterinarians and entire health care team provide the utmost care to each patient. We pride ourselves on continuous improvement through staff training/education and adhere to above-the-mark standards to ensure that your pet will always receive our best care possible. We understand our responsibility to you, the pet owner, in regards to pet health education. Complimenting our pet health services, we are here to provide valuable health information so that you can make informed decisions regarding your pet’s health.

We welcome dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, ferrets, and pocket pets. We do not discriminate based upon age, size, health status, fur-color, number of toe nails, scales or feathers. We offer comprehensive pet wellness exams; well pet planning; client education; dentistry; surgical and hospitalization services; x-ray and vaccinations.

J.W. Lots of parking and grass area, if you want to take your fur-baby for a little walk. Office team and doctor's assistants were friendly and patient. My SMALL Fur-Baby can be stubborn at times. ? The room was clean and the doctor was nice, patient, and thorough. My type of place.

M.B. Everyone is friendly, professional, and awesome with our rats. They are up front about pricing, and the prices are fair. Dr. Renshaw has been great with our boys through every step of their lives. I would absolutely recommend him to any exotic animal parents, and the clinic to any pet parents.

P.W. I took my cooper here, and they are AMAZING! They were so kind and time in and out is short! Also the prices weren’t bad at all. I would definitely recommend.

K.H. I have had many wonderful experiences at Animal Clinic, Inc. The office staff and doctors are pleasant and professional and the prices are very reasonable! I never feel pressure to add on services, which is something I’ve felt at other vet clinics. I have been taking my animals here for 3 years for annual visits, teeth cleaning and when I have a sick pet — and will continue to do so for years to come!

J.S. I have been very happy with the service here. I originally became connected because of my leopard gecko. I have a number of exotic pets as well as cats and a dog. Almost all of my animals have been seen there and I feel like they listen to my concerns, ask great questions, and really care about getting my pets the right treatment. They have been honest with me when it was time to make difficult decisions, which I really appreciate. They follow up personally after treatment to make sure everything is ok. And they tolerate my neurotic questions as a first time dog owner. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The facility is simple but clean and extremely well run. This is my vet of choice for my menagerie.

M.R. They are adorable and really helpful and answer all my bunny questions, my many many questions. They are quick to respond to message and are always willing to give advice on the phone on if your bunny should come in or or not. Love them and they are letting pet parents back in :).
