D.J. I brought my elderly cat to the vet, had to put down my best friend. The staff here made jack’s transition more tolerable by being some of the sweetest individuals. I see why they are all in the field they are in, takes empathy. The cremation he received, bringing the ashes home, all very emotional, but the extra care really helped me grieve. Hoping you all see this and know how much you helped, I wanted to make sure I took the time to thank you.

K.H.f. Great staff helps answer all my pet questions. Flexible appointment scheduling and I've never had any trouble reaching a live person to schedule with. Also has online scheduling options for busy pet parents. I've brought 3 of my pets there and they were all treated great, any concerns were addressed in a clear way that makes sense to someone without much vet knowledge. I definitely recommend taking pets here for care!

S.S. Our family pets ( past and current) have been clients since the 80’s. The practice is excellent. Exceptional Vets, techs and support staff. This state of the art practice has in the past 4 years successfully operated on and removed feline mammary tumors that biopsies show were cancerous and have not recurred 3 years to date, fixed and rehabilitated 2 acls on a 125 lb Rottweiler who moves now as if nothing happened along with diagnosis and management of feline kidney disease, spleen cancer, heart tumor in different extended family pets and various other issues both minor and serious. Unfortunately as with all living things, they were realistic and compassionate when further medical intervention would not lead to quality of life for the pets and they assisted via euthanasia. This obviously impacted each different vet every time visibly. We were fortunately smart in the later years to purchase pet insurance because medical care isn’t inexpensive nor should it be because of margins. We’ve never been or felt like we were charged unreasonably. Appointments are always scheduled in a reasonable time and can be done in a variety of ways. I’ve left messages and had prompt responses. I’ve scheduled on the web with fast reply. We are currently participating in a clinical trial which is both interesting and hopefully helpful in advancing care for pets. I highly recommend this practice.

N.H. The staff at Animal Hospital of Dauphin County have treated both of our dogs with professionalism and compassion. They’re knowledgeable and accommodating. We’re grateful for their care.

K.W. They have home visits which is wonderful since our dog has a car phobia. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The prices are 1/2 the cost of a Hershey vet. Dr. Zajak is very caring and gentle.

S.M. I've always been pleased with the care given our dogs. Dr. Fisher provided us with a through update and the Vet Tech was so sweet. We continue to travel the distance to maintain this high level of care for our pets. Thank you to the entire staff at AHDC.

D. Two days ago our puppy started having seizures. We were so confused and concerned as to why it happened so unexpectedly and rapidly. After the second seizure we brought him to Shore’s Pet Clinic and we’re not satisfied at all. It seemed as though all they wanted was our money and didn’t care about the dogs well-being. After they sent us home with Fritz we still spent the whole night awake crying through his seizures. One after another. The next morning we called every clinic, animal hospital, and vet possible and the only one to pick up the phone was this Animal Hospital. We ended up having our dog euthanized. It was a very hard decision but thanks to the comforting doctor we felt that was the best choice. I knew putting him down would be so hard for my mom but she’s doing pretty well thanks to the doctor and her hospitality. I’m so thankful.
