M.W. I brought my dog to Memorial 610 after another Vet clinic had just dropped the ball numerous times in the process of care for my elderly dog. My experience here is completely different. It is clear from my conversation with Dr. Pittenger that he both understands the issues that my dog is dealing with and he also is wiling to take the time to explain it to me. Where the other clinic wanted to try needless and, based on test results, totally unwarranted drugs, Dr. Pittenger removed those drugs and is moving forward with logic rather than emotion. The entire staff is kind and clearly love the pets coming through there. It is evident by the number of senior pets that I see in that office that this practice is skilled in helping these animals live long lives.
J.M. My experiences at Memorial-610 Hospital for Animals are always great. After 35 years of taking care of my dogs, I would certainly let you know if i found anything lacking. Thank you for always being there for my babies.
    K. My cat, Luna, had pyometra. The vet that I originally took her to didn’t have any surgery availability for a week. I called 6 vets till I was able to reach Diana at Mem 610. She heard my anxiety over the phone cause she dropped everything and was able to get Luna’s surgery the next day, email me the estimate cost, paperwork’s that had to be filled, instructions on what to do before surgery date, etc. My call was 10 min before closing, which means she stayed after work so that she could help me. The next day, Katie was the vet tech that was with Luna. She was very thorough in Luna’s aftercare. She was patient, compassionate, knowledgeable, and friendly. But Luna’s surgery wouldn’t have happened without Dr. Pittenger. He was there at the right time to be able to accept Luna and willingly came in early before the hospital opened so that he could do her surgery. Luna’s final cost came out to be well below her estimate and was less than the estimate from the original vet that I took her to. But that’s not important to me when it’s her life that matters. I felt sorry for Luna and inadequate as a pet owner. This situation was extremely stressful to me as I thought I had the best interest of my pets and yet she still got sick. The original vet that I took Luna to criticized me for the way I was raising her and was very judgmental. Diana, Katie, and Dr. Pittenger, I’m sure also have their opinions, but they listened to me and never judged. Even though they went to school and are educated in their fields, they were humble and didn’t act like know it alls. I really appreciated this as doctors don’t know the whole situation and it’s easy to judge a brief visit/situation. I know how lucky and fortunate I am for my experience. But this is all due to Diana. She was the pebble that started the ripple and no words can describe how grateful I am for her.
D.M. I've been depending on Memorial-610 Hospital for Animals for 40 years because of the excellent care given to my many pets over the decades. We always feel we are getting professional, "caring" care. Our concerns are addressed, and advice given is knowledge-based and thorough. We recommend them highly.
G.B. Love 610 Memorial Animal Hospital. Been going there off and on for years. Dr. Pittenger is the GOAT. He is a great ortho doc. Did my beloved Golden's meniscuses (both knees at different times) and she lived to be 14 1/2. Another one of my beloved dogs was treated there for heartworm treatment. Another of my beloved dogs was euthanized there. I just recently took my new rescue pup there for a checkup. So I have a long years' history with 610 Memorial. You are in good hands. XOXO.
S.B. I don't think it could be better actually - nursing staff is excellent, Dr. Rose is amazing, care for the pets is outstanding. I'm an early bird, so coming in at 8am would be my ideal, but I also recognize there are hospital rounds and other things that have to be done before the clinic visits begin. I am just very grateful - I know my pets are receiving excellent medical care and that gives me great peace of mind. Yours is a terrific practice!
C.S. Dr. Freeley is absolutely amazing. Her warmth and care truly makes me feel so good about bringing my pup here. But that goes for every other person that works here, they truly care and the peace of mind is definitely worth every penny. I used to get stressed about my pup getting sick because I didn’t trust any vet but I was referred here by a dog mom friend and I will keep bringing my girl here forever.
S.W. A friend recommended this clinic to me, and I’m so glad she did. The entire staff was great! Adel was very friendly and helpful over phone and email, and she got authorization to work my dog in last minute. The front desk staff was welcoming upon arrival. Jennifer, the technician, was also very kind and knowledgeable, and she took very good care of my dog. Dr. Dewhurst was very thorough and was also extremely nice to both me and my dog. This clinic is full of people who obviously care a lot about their patients and who are all very good at what they do. I can’t say enough good things. Thank you all!
