J.S. I have been taking my pets to lums pond for the past 15 years. Friendly staff. The Doctors are awesome. I recently had my boston terrier euthanized there. Everything went smooth and the doctors and staff were very caring. I would like to send a special shout out to Dr Thompson for the great work he does. Thank you lums pond animal hospital.

L.S.C. Pricey but good, top-notch care. I'm confident my critter is in good hands. I just wish vet turnover wasn't so frequent, although I understand.

B.M. My dog, Coco, is very comfortable with the staff at Lums Pond Animal Hospital. The staff is very friendly and caring. They are always ready to help in any situation. The doctors there are very thorough and make sure you are comfortable with treatment and medications prescribed. I particularly appreciate that they will call a day or so after the visit to check on Coco’s progress. They have a real concern for the animals. I look forward to a long and continuous relationship with Lums Pond Animal Hospital.

B.S. Unfortunately after 5+ years of bringing our pets here, the availability has declined to the point of finding a new vet. The vet staff has been great (although some of the stellar Drs have departed), but when I needed an appointment for our pups active ear infection, I was told to find somewhere else because everything was booked for over a month. Earlier in the year I waited almost an hour to get a simple booster (done in less than 5 minutes). Thanks for all the years of taking care of our furry family members and best of luck on growing/improving operations in the future!

S.W. My Doberman Pinscher named Koda has received outstanding care from Dr. Danielle Downs and the entire staff at Lums Pond Animal Hospital. They have consistently gone above and beyond to address my pet’s health needs. In fact, my Doberman was diagnosed with a terminal heart condition at the age of 6 years that is common for the breed. Under the care of Dr. Downs, he lived to be 11 years and 8 months old before passing away from the disease. He lived a full life without restrictions until the very end. Both Blue Pearl Specialty & Emergency Pet Hospital and the University of Pennsylvania’s Ryan Veterinary Hospital told me it’s very unusual to see a Doberman do so well and reach his old age after having lived with the disease for so long. It's a testament to the thorough and dedicated care of Dr. Downs and the entire staff at Lums Pond Animal Hospital.

M.T. The staff and service receives a 10 out of 5 from me! My dog's own vet (not from Lums Pond) could not perform the surgery my dog needed and it was time sensitive. I called around and was given the run around, but the staff at Lums Pond listened and responded beautifully and in the most humane way. Dr. Thompson saw the situation and took immediate action. Additionally, the vet techs I encountered were soooo supportive and treated my dog, Khloe like their own. I couldn't have been happier and the more I tell people about Khloe's experience at Lums Pond, the more fans I find out they have!

H.G. My parents' dog had to get an enucleation of both eyes. He is 13 years old. The surgery went well and he is doing great! He is eating better and more active than what he was before surgery. The surgery cost was fair ( $3, 000 less than what a prominent emergency vet hospital wanted to charge! ). He loves his belly rubs, the ecollar- not so much ?.
