M.P. Probably the best vet I have ever been to. I have brought my rats and my cat there for vet help and my dog for grooming. They treat your babies like family, very informative on your need to know of situations and after care and priced so reasonably! And the grooming for my German Shepherd/Husky minx was amazing, I know he can be quite a handful but the groomer did an amazing job and was so patient with him! I hate that we are moving and won't be able to come here anymore, I wish I could take them with us!
M.L. Very accommodating, wonderful staff. I have a guinea pig and they took care of him so well, after he was but by another guinea pig. I was so scared because he was bleeding from the bite and we couldn't get it to stop. My daughter called them (this was at night), while I kept pressure on his wound and they told us to bring him in. They cleaned out his wound and were able to stop the bleeding. They gave us some antibiotics to keep it from getting infected and he was back to his old self in no time. I also have an elderly Tiny Toy Maltese, who is 14 1/2 years old. She has thick hair and PetSmart due to their policy can no longer groom her. She has a heart murmur and can't stand for long periods of time. Aloha Pet & Bird Hospital were recommended to be able to groom my sweet girl. I called and explained my situation, the staff was so sweet and understanding and they made us an appointment to get her groomed. I am so grateful we were able to find someone that has the patience, knowledge and expertise to take care of my sweet girl. I would definitely give Aloha Pet & Bird Hospital 5/5 stars and recommend them to friends and family. They definitely know what they are doing.
G.K. Great veterinarians, large facilities, our vets for many years. Extended hours 7 days a week so always reach them. Not the cheapest but thorough and happy to discuss the plan. A full service AAHA approved pet hospital.
M.P. My Little Italian Greyhound, Diamond Pearl, had a terrible episode and we thought she was dying. She was fluttering like a fish trying to get back to the water. Her legs wouldn’t stand her up and her eyes were rolling back in her head. We thought she was having a stroke or a heart attack.. It was after hours and our vet was closed. We were so scared. Diamond is 13 so we knew we didn’t have much time. Thinking we were losing her, we scooped her up and took her to the Vet hospital closest to our home. The Aloha Pet and Bird Hospital.. When we got there I ran in and said I think my dog is having a stroke and asked if she could be seen. They said yes right away and I went and got my husband and he brought her in.. They were so kind and attentive, took her straight to the back and got her settled and calmed down so they could examine her.. As it turns out she was experiencing Vestibular Disease. If you’ve never experienced it, it basically is doggie Vertigo so she couldn’t get her footing so she was flipping out. 1 cause is ear infection but Diamond doesn’t have or has never been diagnosed with ear infections. The other cause can be age related. Anyway, the vet explained what she had and because of her age suggested we leave her in the hospital so they could get her on fluids, nausea meds and also something to calm her down. Since she was nauseous and dizzy they didn’t want to give them to her by mouth. They needed to put in a IV which meant an overnight stay. They said it could be 1 to 2 nights, depending on how she did. They said most dogs fully recover, including the head tilt straighten up, after a couple of weeks. We were worried but seemed like the best option for Diamond.. To my surprise and lots of prayers, in the morning the Vet called around 8:00. He told me that Diamond Pearl had made a full recovery, including the head tilt and was walking around and looked like nothing had ever happened.. Wow, was I relieved and happy and he said I could pick her up at 10:00 and bring her home. That was the best news. Now 2 days later, Diamond is home, back to her ole self, out for her daily walks. Jumping on and off the sofa. Eating great and just doing extremely well.. I just want to say a BIG THANK YOU to the entire staff and the Dr’s that helped Diamond Pearl get past this and back to normal. ???. I will always use this Veternary Hospital in the future for any future emergencies with both of my pets. They were so awesome! Thanks Again!
C.D. We recently went to this vet on a referral for an emergency procedure and we were amazed at the difference! We then had to put or dog down…. The compassion from every staff member was appreciated. They didn’t need to go out of their way to show us that they cared, but they did. We had our Jackson cremated and just picked up his ashes. The presentation was outstanding… there is a beautiful carved wooden box, a plaque with his name, a footprint cast in plaster, and a lock of his hair. There was also literature about grieving. It’s never easy losing a pet but everyone here made it a little less painful. Thank you to everyone that works here, I hope you know what a difference you make.
C.A. Our fur baby had a little accident in training. Always happens after hours or on a weekend.. our Veterinarians office was closed. They recommended an emergency Veterinarian. They had several serious situations they were already working and told us a minimum of a four hour wait. They recommended Aloha Pet & Bird Hospital. We went. What a great place! The Veterinarian and staff were amazing. Prompt, professional, and most of all good to our furry flash bang. P. S. check out their normal business hours! As for the FlashBang, thanks to Aloha she is on the mend. Sent x-rays off for review so it's R & R until we plan her rehab. Thank you and Aloha.
L.B. This is hands down the best pet hospital/veterinarians in this area. I constantly hear people complain that the prices are too high. My pets deserve the absolute best & there is no way I’m taking them to a place because the prices may be a little bit lower & the treatment is poor & substandard. Not worth taking a chance on your pets health. I personally don’t find the prices too high especially for the exceptional care & treatment they provide. Dr Dan, Dr Becton & Dr Vani are best the vets I’ve seen. These vets treat my dogs like family & genuinely care. Heather at reception has the kindest & biggest heart! Love this place & been going here many, many years!
