A.G. I had a different review here and after talking to the manager I decided to rewrite this. The doctor and help were very good and very thorough. I have to admit we did think the bill of $729 was high but the manager assured us it is comparable to off Island. The good thing is they found an error in our bill for over $100 that was overcharged and corrected it right away and we appreciate that.

J.I.G. Amazing care. They are friendly and thorough. We only use offshore when we are on Nantucket for the summer, but the care is the best we have ever received.

J.G. This is a beautiful vet facility staffed by kind and responsible people. I made an appointment for a well check combined with a Lyme’s disease vaccination for our dog several months before coming to Nantucket because I knew this practice gets so busy during the summer and it is the only one on the Island taking new patients. We live in Texas, where that vaccine is unavailable. The vet was lovely, very friendly and caring, as was the vet tech. I felt like they charged a fair price considering how expensive things are here.

The veterinarian assistants have been fabulous, always attentive and responsive to any concerns I've had. Jen at reception has been so accommodating, knowledgeable, understanding, and caring. And Dr. Burdon…if only she would consider opening a practice in Richmond, Virginia, where we live most of the year. She’s fabulous - you can tell when a professional is treating an animal as if it were her own, and she has every time. Everyone has given us very personable and professional attention, as if we were the only people (and dogs) who mattered at the time, and my most recent experiences have been during a time when the practice has had extreme demands on their time and attention. The fact that they have maintained such excellence during this time - professional, responsive, reliable, and KIND - it's just amazing. This is a great veterinary practice, and I feel fortunate to have found it.

A.L. The staff is excellent, and they have a smart safety plan in place for the pandemic. I’m amazed at how many patients they treat here. My calls are answers, my fears allayed and my dog has always received high quality treatment and care. They don’t carry every prescription dog food, but they do have some in stock when you’re truly in a bind.

D.C. I love Offshore Animal Hospital. I am a year round resident and use many of their services. My dog goes to day boarding twice a week for socialization and play time. He comes home happy and tired. We use the overnight boarding when we go away. The staff is wonderful- informed, caring and welcoming.. The vets are all amazing Our primary vet, Dr. Minior is caring and so knowledgeable. The other doctors are all great. My dog is very well cared for here. The whole staff is welcoming, professional and always helpful.. The boarding staff are fans my dog and we are fans of them. Fabulous place.
