VCA Alpine Animal Hospital is a full service practice offering all aspects of veterinary care. We are an AAHA accredited hospital that has a passion for holistic and preventive pet healthcare.

Our hospital has been caring for pets in the Anchorage community for over 25 years and our doctors have over 20 years of education and and experience combined. In addition, our well trained support staff compliments our outstanding veterinarians. Our team includes two veterinarians, three licensed vet technicians, a groomer, and a complete client service team dedicated to the health and care of your pet. We also run a boarding facility for both dogs and cats. We believe that prevention is the best medicine and offer alternatives to pet owners for the care of our patients.

Our mission at Alpine is the be the leader in preventative medicine in Anchorage, and are dedicated to providing exemplary customer service, compassionate care for our patients and foster an environment of continual learning for pet owners and staff members alike. J.M. We just let there office with what I would have to say was one of the best appointments we have had a many years. One new member to our family and one older member. Got In and out fast with everything needed at a great. price. it's had to find a vet in town taking on new clients. But they are and we're amazing.

J.K. My dog is very nervous around people. They make him feel comfortable and not scared and always answer any questions I have. My other dog had surgery here and was very well taken care of and they did everything to help and nothing was overpriced or unreasonable.

J.L. Our family is so grateful for VCA Alpine helping our 20 year old kitty have a peaceful transition from this life to the next. They gave us a comfortable room and were very patient with us by offering our family extra time to be with her in her final moments. We couldn't have asked for a better end of life experience by the supportive and understanding staff members.

K.B. Very helpful and friendly staff, Dr Owen was very knowledgeable, kind, caring and informative. My dog kitsune was very sick when I brought him in and thanks to their care he is feeling much better. They explained their pet care plan which makes some of the services more affordable with monthly payments.

K.T. I had an amazing experience with Dr. Tara Reese. It was near closing time last Saturday, and Dr. Reese spent extra time talking me through an emergency with my daughter's dog (the dog was experiencing a severe allergic reaction at a remote location in Denali). Dr. Reese saved the day and the dog! She is highly competent, caring, and straightforward--I couldn't ask for more. The staff members were also friendly and helpful. So grateful to Dr. Reese and everyone at VCA Alpine Animal Hospital!

N. I have only good things to say about VCA Alpine. Not only can you get your pet in for an appointment in a timely manner, but I always feel like we are so well taken care of.. I can personally vouch for Dr. Owens and well as for Dr. Clement. Both have provided exceptional care. Dr. Owens was phenomenal today and answered all of my questions. I felt that I was not rushed at all and was very well-respected as a client. Athena looked very happy after her appointment today, and I was as well. Thank you for such quality care.. Natalia.

R.S. Always a great experience with VCA Alpine Animal Hospital. The prices are very low compared to other animal hospitals and the employees have excellent customer service. I think another employee is needed at the front desk because at times it can be overwhelming for the solo employee to process paperwork, answer calls, and help walk-ins. The pet food is quality, so your pet will also eat well while staying overnight.
