Connecticut Veterinary Center & Pet ER with 12 Vets located in West Hartford, CT: AAHA-accredited, Board Certified doctors & hospital, provide the finest care for your pet.

D.M. They were quick and efficient with my baby. My cat is my everything and when she was not acting herself at a very old age, they took care of my baby and she is back to being the best friend/cat ever! I’ll definitely be using them in the future and referring all my friends with fur babies to see them!

C.P.K. Every staff member and each vet was excellent in shepherding us through potential diagnoses, treatment, and decisions for our pet. They showed us empathy and care through our difficult journey.

B.B. Had to take my dog in suddenly on a weekend evening. This resulted in her needing to stay for 3 nights. I received calls twice a day from the doctors with updates and next steps. Everyone was very kind and thorough throughout the process. I only took 1 star off because the initial visit required me to stay in my vehicle. They came out to get my dog and it was a little nerve wracking to send your dog in with an urgent need and not be brought in at any point during the visit. I am not sure if that is because of security reasons, but that is the only reason I deducted a star. Appreciate them taking good care of my dog!

T.S. I had never visited this facility but one of my cats had taken a serious turn for the worse with her illness and I knew I had to put her down and out of pain. In the end, she was purring and comfortable before she passed. The doctor there made the process easier to deal with. The staff and doctor really were very helpful and comforting in a difficult situation that no pet owner wants to go through.

R.M. Being from out of state and staying in MA. with family, we unfortunately needed emergency pet care for our English Bulldog, Maple. The care we received at this facility was absolutely first class. The Doctors are fantastic and they communicate with the family much better than a hospital for humans! There are a few people that have been communicating with us that we would like to give special attention to for their professionalism, dedication, love of animals, and compassion, Dr. Cox, Dr. Holdmeyer and Dr. Schultz who gave us hope. We also want to give special recognition to Sharon, who not only shows unmatched love and compassion to the pets she attends but the pets family who are in need also! We thank you all for assisting us in the time of need with Maple, our fur-baby and for your positive thoughts about her possible ability to pull through the pneumonia, internal bleeding and Sepsis. All your kindness, compassion and thoughtfulness for our family is greatly appreciated. Thank you to the entire Connecticut Veterinary Center Team. We have faith and trust in their professional advice.

J.S. This clinic/center is amazing. The doctors are super professional, they saved my dogs life - literally! I would recommend anyone that cares about their pets life, and need urgent medical care no-matter the time of day - I would tell them to go see The CVC in CT.
