Important Use Instructions
DO NOT DILUTE. USE AS IS.
Read and understand all label instructions before using this product. For additional information, refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet available from your Universal representative.
DIRECTIONS FOR TEAT DIPPING
FOR PRE-MILKING:
After teats have been properly cleaned, dip each quarter in undiluted Mastimin 520 iodine teat dip. Allow product to stay on teats 10-15 seconds, then wipe dry with a clean towel. Examine each quarter with strip cup before applying milking unit.
FOR POST-MILKING:
Use as is; do not dilute. Immediately after milking dip entire teat in undiluted Mastimin 520 and allow to air dry. Use a fresh solution if the dip becomes visibly cloudy or dirty. Mastimin 520 is formulated for use as an aid in reducing the spread of organisms which may cause mastitis. For further information regarding good sanitary practices in the milking parlor, consult your Universal representative.
In very cold weather, before returning cows outdoors, allow teats to air dry to guard against chapping.
FIRST AID
Contact with product can cause irritation to eyes. Keep out of eyes.
Eye Contact: Flush with water. Remove contact lenses after first 5 minutes, if present, then continue flushing.
If Swallowed: Drink large quantities of water and induce vomiting.
STORAGE AND DISPOSAL:
THOROUGHLY RINSE ALL MEASURING DEVICES AND STORE OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Avoid contact with food or feed. Avoid storing near heat or open flame. Keep container tightly closed when not in use. If product has frozen, thaw in warm room and shake well before using. Do not reuse empty container. Rinse empty container before disposing in a safe manner.
