My neighbor keeps his dog in his backyard all day every day.
Extremely discriminatory towards disabled people who use service dogs.
1st time I have been in this building It's a nice place and staff is friendly.

The Idaho Humane Society is the largest and oldest animal welfare organization and veterinary charity in the state of Idaho.

Mission
The mission of the Idaho Humane Society is to advocate for the welfare and responsible care of animals, protect them from neglect and cruelty, and promote humane awareness and compassion. E.S. Everyone at the center was very kind to me when I had to go identify my cat who had been killed by dogs. I was traumatized but the staff was very sensitive and respectful.

V.C. Went there with an older gentleman who could only catch his cat ? in a tall big awkward box. They didn't help him get the box out, and when he was at the door for about a min. The cat escaped from the top of the box ?. He panicked, got rid pf the box. Told someone inside he needed help and a quick rundown.. The tech who came out was very rude with him. I was appalled by her attitude then she proceeded to raise her voice and told him.. You need to trap the animal in a cage and properly.. blah blah blah technical jargon. But this old man who is clearly a bit handicapped is distraught cuz his cat just escaped with no help fom anyone. And myself being handicapped I could not help bit I was well aware of what was going on and she upset him and appalled me at the same time. I usually LOVE ❤️ this place. I got the best thing that ever happened to me from that place. I owe them.. but she put a bad taste in my mouth. And as a reviewer and consumer I was ?.

S. I was pleased with quickness and politeness of the staff. Getting a couple if young cats fixed. They were friendly in taking our information, and told us they'd call us for pick up. Yay! ❤.

J.S. The staff are always so friendly. I have recently been going in every few days to check if my cat has been turned in unfortunately still no luck. But the amount of intake is unbelievable. They do a wonderful job rehabilitating animals whether it be sickness, surgery, training and simply domesticating animals. They have a heart of gold.

T.W. Clean facility. Very friendly staff. I drove 5 hours to pick up my lost dog. Shortly after leaving my hometown in Nevada I found an abandoned puppy at an empty rest stop. I had planned to take the puppy back with me to the closest animal control to the rest stop on my way home. After mentioning it to the staff at IHS they offered me a kennel, dog food, leash, collar, blankets and dishes for the puppy on the ride back to Nevada.
