I really appreciate the reasonable prices and service the staff provides.
Nice place, old timey feeling, nice staff, good rates, good experience.
Especially, as Roxi had never spent a night away from home.

C.S.1 best Vet. ever saved my little man's life. I'll never take my 4 legged kids anywhere else..
R.N.They are not only kind courteous and respectful to you, they are great with animals and very thorough. They will skilfully diagnose your pet and give them the best care possible. You cannot find any place better for your little family member.
M.R.V.W.H.The staff has always gone above and beyond when it comes to caring for our cats. They are friendly and treat us(humans and felines) with respect and compassion. Dr Wethered is amazing at what he does and how qualified he is with animals.. My cat Roxi was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism in May. It came on very fast and I was concerned about her quality of life. Dr Wethered talked options and checked on us frequently to see if the option of medicine we chose was working.. In June, Roxi took a turn for the worse after weeks of doing better. I was a nervous wreck and called the hospital in tears. They got me in immediately. The staff and Doctor knew that I was concerned with the financial aspect of ultrasounds, x-rays, labs, and a hospital stay. They worked with me to alleviate those stressors and to focus on Roxi. Especially, as Roxi had never spent a night away from home. I was encouraged to come down and spend time with her after work, which I took full advantage of especially, as it was almost her 15th birthday. I am forever thankful for that because she ended up passing there hours after my last visit. I hold that last hour holding her while we rocked and watched the fish in the lobby aquarium. It helps ease the pain of losing her knowing that I had those precious moments and that she was in good hands with people that truly care and love animals.. I can never thank the entire staff enough that my furbaby was so loved and cared for. It has taken me a little bit of time before I could write this review because my heart was broken. I could not have asked for a better experience, under the circumstances, for my Roxi girl. The day after she passed, I received a sympathy flower delivery from the hospital for my loss.. When I had her remains cremated, I was only expecting a small box. What I received was beyond my expectations. The memorial box is extremely nice quality and very solid. Her paw print was a bonus that I wasn't expecting. Needless to say, many tears were shed when I saw both of them.. Thank you, Ewing Animal Hospital. I will never forget your kindness.
R.D.We moved to Boise from Meridian recently and had to change vets. Our 7 year old Aussie normally hates going to the vet but she seemed very comfortable and happy here! I think because they allowed us to be in the room while she got her booster shots and check-up, she was much more at ease. The whole staff was very professional and also very nice. We're very glad we found Ewing!
A.J.I am so pleased with everything about this office and it's staff and services. I've been to several different places over the last few days trying to get my cat treated and taken care of with a broken femur. They have been amazing. Would recommend. Will be returning for all my pet needs.
A.S.They really made my new puppy feel at home they are super friendly, very caring towards the animal and full care. I found her forever doctor.
A.L.I would highly recommend Ewing Animal Hospital. Doc and his staff are always attentive and caring for our two dogs. One of my dogs was adopted from Ewing and she always loves going back to say hi to her first home. The hours at Ewing are convenient, the prices are fair and the staff is friendly.
V.S.I have to believe the negative posts I read were due to the emotional experience and unexpected costs of a vet visit. I found the staff very friendly and helpful and Dr. Wethered kind and knowledgeable. He was very thorough in explaining treatments and there was no pressure to have any procedure done. He just gave best and worst case scenarios and allowed me to make a decision. I would highly recommend them.
