D.C. I bring my two cats here. Everyone on staff have been informative and kind. When there was an issue with a blood test that indicated an issue that required more in depth testing, VCA refunded me for the follow up tests tests after realizing there was an error in the collection of the blood samples.

K.L. This place has taken care of two of my animals over the years. Twice now they have fit me in at the last minute. Dr. Bohrer respected that I couldn't afford expensive diagnostic testing and offered some limited treatment options that helped my cat tremendously. Definitely my veterinary home and I strongly recommend them.

S.D. Can’t say enough great things about this VCA location. Our dog got attacked a week ago and needed emergency surgery. The largest ER in town held him for almost 20 hours without so much as giving him a pain pill.. The next day we contacted the VCA (which is also where we take our guy for everything on a regular basis) to see if they could fit him in and they accommodated us. Long-story short, they took great care of him - as they always do- and we always know he’s in great hands when he’s there. All vets are busy these days so I just wanted to recognize all the great people here for all their compassion and great work.. Thank you VCA North Portland!

M.T. I've been bringing my pets here for years. They are always so excellent with my dog and now my cats. The doctors are thorough and understanding. I really appreciate their communication and willingness to go above and beyond to make sure my pets get the care they need.. And in the last few months I've seen just how hard the front office staff works to squeeze pets in and make sure everyone gets what they need.. Many thanks to VCA for taking care of my pets!

C.B. Had to take my cat Meeko twice to VCA in one week. They were able to fit my cat in on both instances. Everyone is truly amazing, and caring. I felt reassured, and all of my questions were answered. Meeko was provided with some medication to help his concern. Luckily it helped, and he is now back to his normal playfully self. K.H. We are new patients at VCA North Portland and I have to say we are extremely happy with their level of care, the kindness of the staff, and how they interact with our four dogs. Dr. Mitchell is a pro and was so gentle and sweet with our dogs. She spent a couple of hours with me and our pops just getting to know them and answering my questions. The entire staff was lovely. Yes, it can take a little while to get in as they are pretty booked up, but I’m glad we waited. Would definitely recommend them to other pet owners.
